The Cyclones Pewee Select team accomplished a rare feat this season, winning three championships. After finishing first overall in their division of the Seacoast league, the team played four close playoff games to earn the Championship, beating New Hampshire East in the finals. In the Valley league, the team beat a tough Haverhill team in the conference final and then beat Winthrop and Greater Lowell to claim the red division championship. Congratulations to all of the players and coaches for an outstanding season!! The team roster includes: Kyle Mcfarland, Josh Somma, Dylan Cody, Billy Mcnamara, Nic Lefave, Derek Santos, Paul Russo, Wil Faulkener, Brendan Colton, Dale Armstrong, Alec Lefave, Mike Canniff, Bryce Spartichino, Jake Martin and Brendan Burke. March 15, 2008 The Northern Cyclones are crowned the 2008 AJHL Playoff Champions by sweeping the Philadelphia Little Flyers in two games and will advance to the USA Hockey National Championships, along with the New Jersey Rockets and ten other Junior "A" teams from across the Country.
