Premier 02' veteran forward, Garrett Connor committed to Framingham State where he will continue his academic and hockey career!

What Garrett had to say about his commitment:

"Coach Weiand and the Northern Cyclones were tremendously helpful in giving me the opportunity to live out my dream of playing college hockey. The Northern Cyclones organization gives you every opportunity to improve your game on and off the ice. With an open gym, routine skills skates, and daily team practices you have all the tools you’ll need to improve as a player. My commitment wouldn’t have been possible without Coach Weiand, his reputation of winning and moving players on to college is completely deserved. My teammates played a massive role in my commitment as well, the team immediately made me feel comfortable and was very welcoming when I first arrived. My captains set a great example on and off the ice everyday and were very inclusive in the dorms, actively trying to get players to bond and grow together as a team.

I knew Framingham State was where I wanted to be after my visit and conversations with Coach Bailey. Coach Bailey let me know my play style and personality would be a fit at Framingham. Framingham had a wide selection of majors I’m interested in, and the quality of their classrooms and facilities played a large role in my decision to commit. Once I got back from my visit I knew Framingham was where I wanted to be".
