Congratulations to Premier Captain and 2-year Cyclone, Seth Orozco for his commitment to Lake Forest College where he will continue his academic and hockey career!

"Coming to the Northern Cyclones organization has been one of the best decisions I have made.  The coaching staff has made me feel at home since the first day I stepped into the rink. The cyclones offer many opportunities for players to develop. They have a dedicated rink and we practice on it every day. The team also offers many off- ice activities and facilities that help players improve, which I have benefited from.  I’ve also learned so much from the organization ,not only on the ice, but in life. Team work, leadership, accountability and more importantly the opportunity to create new friendships with players from all over the world. The past two years I was fortunate to be part of 2 strong Cyclones teams. My first year, I looked up to the older players and they taught me what it meant to be a Cyclone. My second year I was fortunate to be named captain and have continued success with a great new group of guys and core returners. "

"This couldn’t have been possible without my coaches, Coach Fred Hein and especially Coach Bill Weiand. From the first day I came to the Cyclones I knew I wanted to succeed and play college hockey and Coach Bill has a strong track record of moving guys to the next level. Coach Bill works just as hard as the players behind the scenes, helping players develop, and reaching a specific goal for each player. This wouldn’t have been possible without him."

"I am super excited to attend Lake Forest College in the fall, it has been a school of interest of mine since day one. The reason I decided on Lake Forest was because of the competitive conference they play in, the location of the school , being closer to home, and because their coaching staff has made me feel welcome since we first time we started talking. Thank you to the USPHL for allowing me to continue my hockey career and helping me advance to the next level."
