The Northern Cyclones are excited to announce the college commitment of Premier defenseman, Niklas Byman. Niklas has committed to Chatham University! This is the Cyclones Premier team's 15th NCAA commitment from this past season. 

Niklas played 22 games with the Cyclones and had 3 assists before unfortunately tearing his achilles in January.

Here is what he had to say about his college commitment and his time spent with the Cyclones; "I am very excited about joining Chatham to continue playing hockey and my academics."

"Even though my season with the Cyclones got cut short, I am very thankful for Coach Weiand and the other coaches for pushing me to be better every day! Big thank you to my teammates that made the place feel like home! I am looking forward to playing against my former teammates this upcoming years, so be prepared!
